Awards for Giotto's
It's been a great couple of weeks for two Giotto's products.
In the December 2011 issue of Digital Camera magazine, the Giotto's MTL9361B tripod and MH1311-652 ball head won the 'Kit Zone, Mini Test' of Budget Tripods.
Scoring 5 stars and winning the Digital Camera Gold Award and Best on Test awards, they loved the "..rock solid support..." and ".. wealth of features..".
Then the January 2012 issue of PhotoPlus magazine arrived. In their Gear of the Year 2011 article, the same tripod and head combination was named as Best landscape tripod. They said
"Some tripods promise so much but only deliver in a flimsy and slightly rickety way. The Giottos is super-solid and offers a really firm platform foor outdoor shooting.
Mod-cons such as multi-angle legs and a pivoting centre column are really quick and easy to use - and brilliantly implemented. For example, with the similar Manfrotto system, you can only use the centre column in a vertical or horizontal mode, wheras the Giottos pivots to any angle through 180-degrees. We love thisfeature for macro and ultra-wide shooting."
