VGRN Vitruvian Tripod Kits - Carbon Fibre

Giotto's designed the Vitruvian tripods with "reverse technology" legs so that when collapsed they fold through 180 degrees and surround the tripod centre column and head making the kits more compact and easier to carry between locations - Awesome!

The quick action twist leg locks require only 1/8 turn to lock and unlock. Vitruvians also feature a splittable centre column to improve low level photography options and built-in spirit levels to ensure accurate set up. All VGRN tripods are supplied with a head featuring quick release mechanism for fast and easy camera attachment/ removal plus a carry bag. They say the best tripod is the one you always take with you - no excuses with this one!

The VGRN8225 is the most compact in the range, with a maximum operating height of 135cm and weight capacity of up to 4kg. It uses 7 layer carbon fibre and weighs just 0.95kg. The MH5310-630 head supplied with these legs has an on/off control and a pan lock, a quick release plate and spirit levels.

Sitting in the middle of the range is the VGRN8255 with a maximum operating height of 165cm and weight capacity of up to 6kg. This tripod weighs just 1.38 kg, feature a built in monopod and splittable centre column. The MH5400-652 head has an on/off control and pan lock, a quick release plate and spirit levels.

The VGRN8265 is the largest available, with a maximum operating height of 171cm and weight capacity of up to 9kg. The VGRN8265 uses 7 layer carbon fibre and weighs just 1.72kg. The MH5501-652 ball head supplied with these legs offers on/off and friction control plus a seperate pan lock. It has a quick release plate for fast and easy camera attachment/ removal while spirit levels will ensure accurate set up. AND it's not just a tripod, simply unscrew the tripod leg, remove the centre column and head, then join them together to produce a monopod. Plus this is the only size in the range that has built-in spiked feet too!
